    I lurve this plant.

You only need to grow it once as it self seeds. Mine at the lottie has self seeded from one plant; and grows along the corners of the paths.

Mine at home [I have 2 at home] self seeded from a plant I gave to a pupil and he left his to set seed, and I found it growing next to his last year's corn bed; in amongst the grass so I dug 2 up and brought them home and they have been happily growing here since.

I add the leaves to salads and they are full of nutrients. They will grow all winter long and they come into their own in the spring.

If you have a tiny little space - I thoroughly recommend this beauty.

    Here are some other photos

    you can buy them here

Nah - I HATE rocket with a vengeance. It's lovely....not bitter at all.

Very hardy - it germinates during the autumn winter and kicks into life come spring.

I've never had golden purslane, so can't say - it's more of a spinachy taste than a lettucy one.

I might see if I can repot one from the lottie - you can't take cuttings as it grows from the crown.
