No need to remove leaves - they will fall of their own accord.

Mine are ripening as we speak. In fact, they have only just started to turn red!! I mentioned this in another thread, they are Cayenne chilli plants, and as I grew them from seed late in the summer, I am benefiting from fresh chilli's even though the temp has dropped. Think It will be my plan next year too - plant sopme Cayenne seeds towards the end of summer. They sit on the kitchen window sill, and have a good glug of tomato feed each week. I'm hoping to get some real hot varieties going next year - Naga Jolokia, Habenero etc, but I can't knock these Cayenne, they have been a pleasure to grow and look after

I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Now we've got frost, the house is absolutely of chilli plants. Some just ripening, others to overwinter....

Mine are still ripening. Thing is, I did not check the weather last night and it was so cold this morning there was ice inside the car.

I hope the chillis and peppers are ok in the greenhouse.

                Must try harder
While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.

Ours survived a frost last a few days ago. I think we may have had another though, so will have to go and have a look. I suppose I should think about bringing them in soon...
