thank you interesting about the chilli focus as i have purchased a small bottle last season and didnt use any.. my haberno peper plant went all yeelow and dropped its leaves i am having troubles with the hotter chillis but cayenne and basket of fire all went ok. i will give the oragnic methid a go as mentioned with the comprey feed, also curious about what the slugs do for the feed? thank you for all help :-)Comment

I think slugs put in a feed will create a kind of homemade nematode, thus reducing your slug population. However it is illegal to purposfully make pesticides at home, as they should be regulated officially.
This is why the coffee grounds on my plot are 'soil improvers' and not slug deterrants.The more help a man has in his garden, the less it belongs to him.
