    can anyone recommend a pottasiun high fertisler and also what is the best fertiler for chilli plants is horse manure water down ok? thank you

      Urine/nettle tea, then when flowers form comfrey tea/tomato feed?

        I use nettle tea or tomato feed this year I will be using as said above chilli focus good luck

          I used chilli focus last year and was pleased enough with it...

            Potassium/potash is for flowering & fruit production (so that would be chillies).

            I use my patented Comfrey Brew: comfrey leaves + seaweed + slugs + dandelion/bindweed/couch grass roots.

              Do you use that as a general feed for as long as the ingredients are available during the summer?

              Interesting use of the weeds I hate which are normally donated to the council.

                thank you interesting about the chilli focus as i have purchased a small bottle last season and didnt use any.. my haberno peper plant went all yeelow and dropped its leaves i am having troubles with the hotter chillis but cayenne and basket of fire all went ok. i will give the oragnic methid a go as mentioned with the comprey feed, also curious about what the slugs do for the feed? thank you for all help :-)

                  I think slugs put in a feed will create a kind of homemade nematode, thus reducing your slug population. However it is illegal to purposfully make pesticides at home, as they should be regulated officially.

                  This is why the coffee grounds on my plot are 'soil improvers' and not slug deterrants.
