I have picked up some seed from BnQ, the chilli seeds, i am wondering if it is too late to start planting them or should i just wait for the next season. Any advice wilol help p-lease and also how to speed up the growth of them without tomato feed.

I usually sow my chillies in March/April, because it's not light enough until then. You don't want to grow them too fast, you want strong sturdy plants.

Depending on the variety of Chilli it may not be too late. Do you have a heated propagator? If so use that, if not how about your airing cupboard? Sow the seeds into seed compost or whatever you prefer and keep them in the warm until they pop their heads up, then move them to a sunny windowsill. Preferably they shouldn't be subjected to less than 10 degrees C. Don't feed them until they start flowering. I sowed a load in May last year and still got some chillis from them.
I pinch the first flower out, it panics and sends out a flush of more flowers and they then become the main crop - so about 5-10 for each plant which should still be useable [even more if you take those off early and use them].
