    Chilli Plants

    hi all,
    Can anybody tell me if you have to pinch out the top of the chilli plant as i have been told to do so,is this right,i have 3 of them in my greenhouse and they are about 3.5 ft tall,lots of flowers on them and small chillis,and also do i have to cut the leaves off like my tomato plants.

    You don't have to pinch the tops out but I tend to for the taller varieties as it keeps the plant a bit stockier. However, don't take any leaves off unless they are diseased as peppers / chillies are bush types not cordons like some tomatoes.

    Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

    Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

      Hi if your plant has chilli's on then i wouldnt pinch out as it wiil start the plant veging again.
