  • chilli with brown rotting end?

Apologies if this has been covered before - I can't seem to get the search to work (at all!)

My partner's daughter is growing chillis in pots on a south-facing windowsill. Most are fine, but one she says has a problem - the chillis are developing a brown end (furthest from the plant). The plant itself seems fine

I wondered if this might be over-watering - she is new to this and very enthusiastic! - but as they are 200 miles away I can't easily go and check!

Anyone any suggestions or recommendations or methods of diagnosis?
    much appreciated
    Sali

Sounds like it could be blossom end rot (I know they can suffer from it, but they tend to tollerate less watering?)...

Or.. what chilli is it? Could it be ripening? (Choc hab?)
