Those look lovely! The flavour will be fantastic

For Xmas Dinner we'll be having our own spuds, carrots, leeks, sprouts and peas- and our own goose and stuffing made with home-made bread, garden sage and eggs ( from our chooks).
I had hoped for parsnips too- but didn't get round to sowing them as the ground was so dry ( and then I forgot!)
All the best with your lottie veg for Xmas 2012- it's really very rewarding producing your own nosh for such a special family meal isn't it???

Not quite the same as christmas lunch but for the past couple of years we've put together a veg box for a couple of our neighbours - kale, red cabbage, carrots and parsnips from the allotment and a jar of pickle, jam or chutney from surplus autumn crops. Makes a lovely christmas gift.
