    Is it too late to grow chard from seed? My guinea pigs and chickens seem to love it and have pretty much eaten the load I started back in spring

    The spring sown stuff should keep on growing it is bi annual. I am going to sow some more soon to put in the tunnel to keep us going through the winter.

      i have found it grows from seed all year round .i usually start it in pots and plant on the allotment as space becomes available , and have just set some more away for the polytunnel .
