If you aren't sure of the variety....and they are coming out that shape...personally I'd start taking them now.
If they are supposed to be bigger then they will still be sweet.
Just cut off that green bit at the top ( where the daylight has got to it)

Just take a few at a time and see what you think!

Having said that, the top growth is rather small...so they probably will keep a while longer....

Your call, but I usually take my carrots young as they tend to be tender and absolutely delish !

I start harvesting my carrots when they are finger thick and continue until spring, when they start to grow lots of fine roots and go woody and start to produce a flower spike. They are edible at any point really.

Suggest you pull them if and when you need or want some.
I planted some back in March and they had 10-12 weeks mentioned on them. Well that was 6 months ago and they are still described as pretty pathetic.

What happens this year will decide what gets planted next year and it looks like carrots will be off the menu (And Spring Onion).

Thanks for all the replies. I'll leave them a bit longer, there's only 8 which will work out at 2 each
