      Blimey! You did good!! Didn't harvest anything anywhere near that size when I tried carrots... didn' t stop me parading them around the house though, lol. nothing sad about it luv

        I wish I had your knack if that beastie is anything to go by! My 3rd lot of seeds are only 5in long now.

                That's brilliant, Lawa, and huge!

                I'm having one final try at carrots. They won't grow in my clay soil, so I've got some in a pot, in MPC. The tops are about 8" tall so far, which is better than last year when I tried them in John Innes. They didn't like that at all. Never got one carrot. So fingers crossed this year.

                  Nice one. Carrots are one of my favourite crops which probably explains why with 6 pots currently growing well I sowed some more yesterday!

                      Well done, mine usually get pulled up, washed and eaten within 30 seconds. Must try and get a pic. Nowhere near as big as yours.
