    A week ago my courgettes still weren't really producing... everyone else's have been going mad for aaaaages. I literally picked one green on on Saturday and a coupla (tiny) yellow ones. Yesterday I went and picked 8 YES EIGHT!!!

    Courgette muffin anyone, cake, fritter.... WINE!!!

    Courgette pickle or freeze them ......just slice and pop im a bag , make it flattish and suck the air out (a straw is useful) then seal and bung in the freezer... cook straight from frozen either on the griddle or in a sauce in the oven.

      I have seen a recipe for pickling them like gerkins! Going to eat these as veg but if they continue like that we'll soon be sick of them! )

                    if you got some chillies, chilli and yellow courgette risotto.... yum!!!!

                    or

                    make pasta sauce bases with courgettes in and freeze works a treat for using up surplus toms too
                    Never test the depth of the water with both feet
