  • Can you identify my melons?

    Hi all, I grew some melons this year which have done well but I have no idea what variety they are as the label has disappeared can you help ??

        Looks like one I grew - 'sweetheart f1'

        I harvested far far too early. Does it smell like a melon? Sound like it has a hollow centre when tapped?

          (Well, size and colour... Not sure if that scarring was from it touched the floor/vine?)

            Chris the marks are how they all look.. They are all in homemade hammocks so no floor / vine touching they start smooth then the skin takes on that impressive scarred looked

              Probably a different type then. They should taste better than bought ones anyway!

                    Another one for Emir musk melon. James Wong seeds on suttons has a got a photo of it. Just google.

                    Also if you remember where you got seeds from look at what supplier is selling and probably can identify that way.
                    Lovely looking melons by the way, well done. Mine are still in embrionic stage
