    Can you cook normal sweetcorn when young?

    I ask because I have picked a young cob today as the tassle had turned brown and was worried it would go to waste. Its quite young and still pale. Its about 6-7 inches. Is there any health reason you cant boil it up and eat it?

    No health reason at all Rob. You can eat sweetcorn raw too.
