    Cabbage Query - What type is it!

    Busy day on allotment, everyone seemed to be potting on which obviously saw a lot of swaps... Somebody gave me some cabbages they showed me a name tag but I've forgotten... Not a plot holder I see often as he hardly shows face at a weekend...

    It began with an I... Illveric? Totally unsure, looked like a Johnsons packet but cannot see anything on their website....

    Can anyone idetify?

    To help us out,how tall aprox are they,how may leaves are showing ext 2 are just seed leaves,so any more would be better for an id,do they show any signes of going red,if green light,dark,better still if you could post a pic,may our resitent expert googlers will be along,failing all else,you better of bumping this post when you have several true leaves,to see if we come with anything,meantime,ask others on your lottie,maybe they can remember what you cannot

      You'll be very lucky to tell what type of cabbage it is by looking at a young plant so think your best bet will be to ask at the lottie, sorry.

        You may even have to wait until the cabbage is fully mature to have a hope of identifying it. Hope someone at your allotments can shed light on it.

          I would never accept any brassicas from any of our plotholders unless they had been grown in sterile compost. Clubroot is rampant here and parts of my plots have it already.
          I could be bringing clubroot to the rest of the plot so its just not worth it.
