Hi, I'm very new to this, have muddled my way through the summer quite successfully, but really have no idea what I'm doing! I have planted broad bean seeds a few weeks ago, my plants are now about 3 inches tall, and the underside of leaves are covered in white flies. What are they and what should I do?

Do the flies fly up when you brush past the plants? They sound like white fly to me. There has been a lot of them on my plants this year. I don't usually bother too much about them as they will be killed off once the colder weather gets here.Comment

Yes they do, looks like fine ash. Hopefully they'll die off then in the cold snap!Comment
