  • Broad Bean Aquadulce in containers??

    Hello all,
I am a new veg grower and I apologise if this is an old question that gets asked all the time.
I have some (5) aquadulce broad bean plants about an inch tall which i managed to grow in small pots in my lean to. I was going to plant them in largish containers as since propergating them, I have realised a) they dont like growing with onions and b) I have only a small veg patch which is now full of brassicas (onions and garlic). I am not sure if they would be ok as I imagine they have large root systems?
Any one done this? Or any advice really appreciated

I've grown them in containers before....added some water retaining granules mixed with the compost (I tend to add these to most of my container grown stuff), can't remember the size of the pot, but it was pretty big and I put 3 in. They did pretty good! Good luck!

I sowed mine in the Spring.

Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs! https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gr...lies/smile.gif
