  • Brassica woes

Hi all, can anyone help me identify what's wrong with my cabbages? The leaves are gradually turning silver and brittle, they even crunch when I squash them. Any ideas?

Raine could you post a pic. Sounds like it could be a form of white rust or maybe manganese deficiency.

You can't upload directly from ipad, you can from iPhone, or use your iPad,but go via main GYO,site, and upload from your Photostream.

        Hope that makes sense

I know it's not a brassica, but like this?

It's wind/leaf burn, caused by the plant transpiring water out of its leaves faster than the roots can take it up.
Keep the plants shaded if at all possible until it's less baking hot
