  • Borlotti - Can I plant this late?

I bought some Borlottis for next year, but I now have a decent space that I've just cleared in the Garden Annexe (read the neighbour's garden that she kindly let me take over). Could I plant them now or is it too late? They are a bush.

        I'm going to plant more.

I planted some in pots ages ago, and then transferred them onto the plot and under the wigwam I built. Four died. I planted four more in pots and repeated the process. Four died.

This will be my last attempt.

        Good luck with yours.

Barlottis take longer than other French beans to mature. Should be okay for eating fresh though.
