Dig up affected plants to help stop it spreading.

The potato council leaflet concentrates on avoidance and protection of the stored crop, but it's an interesting read anyway: http://potatoes.ahdb.org.uk/sites/de...ow%20Res_1.pdf

          didn't this help?
Keep an eye on the stems near the soil....mine looked like that last year and then Blackleg showed on the stems. If that appears dig any spuds underneath up quick (and eat) before it spreads along the row.
You do the same thing with each potato that gets it
Make sure you put potatoes somewhere else next year.
