Can anyone advise me what is the best/easiest bean variety for easy growing, drying, keeping and rehydrating to use in many different ways during the winter months

Stella go and have a look at Flum's blog - she grows beans for drying and has loads of info on there! Or you could try some Italian varieties!! I bet you will find some over there.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?Comment

Borlottas are good - TwoSheds grows lots of beans for drying and using during the winter.Comment
