I love the thought of growing Baked Beans! Save a lot of effort if they grew ready tinned.

I think they have developed a bean similar to 'baked beans' that will tolerate the British weather...................problem is THEY ARE BLACK!

Too many seeds already despite swapping and giving away, so I think I MUST steer clear.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

I spotted these too and got a pack. Not a bad collection for just a pound. Let's hope for a nice summer so we can enjoy growing our 'exotics'!

Got raspberry canes, £1 each there about 10 days ago. Heeled them in and I have got growth! Also shallots for £1. I love a bargain.
