    Back from hybernation...

    O.K, Hi everyone! Just woken from my winter sleep and toddled up to the lottie to see what's brewin'.
    Question for you.
    Can I use rusty water on my veggies? I aquired an oil-drum which I scrubbed out and intended to cut in half for carrots etc, but didn't get to it before hybernation set in. It's now half full of very rusty water. Will my veggies have added iron? Or will I poison my family? Your thoughts would be appreciated! Ta.

    I think you can water with rusty water - though I'll be interested to hear what others think. In some parts of the country, rusty water comes out of the taps!

      Very true! Our village was one of them until we offered a waterboard inspector a glass of it.
      Winter sleep was good - but I've got terrible "bed hair" now.
