  • Baby bio plant feed ?

Sorry but i'm really new to planting my veg my mums passed me some baby bio from the shop, can i use this on my tomatoes and other flowering veg ?

Baby Bio as I remember it is brown stuff in a little bottle, mainly used for houseplants. Dilute about ten drops to a pint of water (which is fine for houseplants, but may not be enough for what you need). However it is a pretty good fertiliser and if you use the recommended dilution rates there is no reason why you can't use it.

As a house plant fertiliser it has relatively high nitrogen percentage. It won't do your veg any harm but is not ideal for encouraging flower and fruit on your tomatos. You'd be better off with proper tomato food (which is also suitable for other flowering veg).

What a thoughtful mum,I use baby bio on my house plants, i would think you could still use it on your veg..but there only little bottles and it'll not last long. You say you have a wilkos near you, when you've got time, pop in and treat your plants to some of there own liquid plant food for veg..its not expensive, or you might want to try one of the other brands..

It should say somewhere on the package what plants it is suitable for and what dilution to use.
