When would you use Blood. , Fish and Bone and when would you use Seaweed fertiliser. ? The instructions on the containers are very similar.

My seaweed fertiliser offers a dilute mix that you can give the plants every time you water from seedling stage through to mature plants. I use BFB when I'm planting out,just once,sprinkled round the plants & covered with soil,a little bit mixed in to hide the scent. Or mixed in at the bottom of a pot,fresh compost on top then put the plant in,so the roots don't touch the BFB. As long as the plants get something & not too much they should be fine,their leaves will tell you if they want something.
