    Australian Radish

    Does anybody know what kind of radish they grow in australia .are they the same as ours ? or are they different ?
    i know this probably sounds mad but a friend of mine is from oz and loves radish and want to give them a treat

    The two main seed companies I deal with have close to two dozen radish varieties listed in their catalogs, including the White Icicle, Black Spanish (round & long), Daikon and even a red-fleshed one. So, I reckon radish fans are not missing out on very much by living in Oz, as against Europe or North America where the range of all veggies tend to be more extensive than what's available Down Under.
    Happiness is being with the love of your life. If you can't have that, then an unlimited supply of well-rotted manure is a pretty close second!

      How are you going to get them into Oz Tigress? The way their customs dept. behaves with plants, and seeds etc. you may have difficulty.
      Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

        sorry guess i gave the wrong message we both live in the UK my friend has moved here from oz so wanted to suprise them here with something they said they liked from home
