  • Aubergine question

    Hi all
I have tried to grow aubergine each year and every year they become dull before the get to full size. The plants seem healthy otherwise. Does anyone know what is going great wrong?
    Thasks for your help.

I'm watching this as I have x5 plants which have flowered but can see little evidence of fruit yet.

Are you growing them indoors, or out? I've never had much luck growing Aubergines outside, but had reasonable success in the polytunnel.
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
      Pumpkin pi.

They are growing in pots in the tunnel and greenhouse. I feed with a comfrey liquid every week. QUnited molly cuddled really!

I always tickle each flower on it's dangly bits to make sure they're pollinated and pick the fruit at about 5 inches long. I make sure also the plants don't get too much nitrogen or they grow leaf at the expense of fruit. This pic's from a couple of years ago but they seem to do ok every year

Wow. They look amazing. What should I be feeding them with to ensure not too much nitrogen?
