| Mine went in on 18th March. I think I'll let them have the full 12 weeks before I try. They do put on much more luxuriant foliage in compost in a pot than in the dirt in the garden! It's what's going on below that's important. Going to fertle in mid-June.

I grew some Rocket under fleece frames around and over they will come good to eat in 8 weeks that was 2 years but the young Foxes thought it was a play ground the slightest bit of shelter helps potatoes so nothing is a waste of time Jacob |

| Iv'e got two rows each of Duke of York and International Kidney in the lottie. I think I might cover one row of each with fleece to get a successional crop. It shouldn't matter if the fleece is on the foliage should it?

| I had a fertle a couple of weeks back - mine went in mid-march too. Only a handful of small pots (chats) from two plants but it kept Miss EB very happy and she enjoys pulling even the tiniest one off the plant. I've got some flowers on the Milva and some of the leaves are looking a but suspect on the Anoe so I'll probably have a dig with my trusty assistant tomorrow and see what is what. Love them tiny though.
