| Hi all, Grim old day here in Norwich so the greenhouse has been the perfect place to shelter. On the plus side the water butt is almost full again! I have a couple of Apache chilli plants growing, they seem to be doing pretty well. They are now looking quite "bushy" with lots of sideshoots. Am I meant to be doing anything special with them like pinching out or am I best to just leave alone and keep watered and warm? Any tips gratefully received as I'm new to chilli growing! Thanks Chris |

| Grand! I'll leave them too it and see what happens. My jalepenos are shooting up as well, have had to stake one of them - I'm assuming this is standard. Also, I've had real trouble germinating any chilli seed I've got - I've tried a few different things, multi purpose compost, specialist seed compost and then specialist seed compost with vermiculite on top - nothing has worked as yet. Any hints or tips gratefully received as I'm partial to the odd chilli or two. Thanks, Chris PS - The rain has stopped, the water butt is full and I'm hoping that the reasonable weather holds for tomorrow! |
