  • Anything left to plant out/sow now?

    Hi all

    Having dug up my rather pathetic crop of first earlies on the allotment, i now have a space to fill.
    Other than salad crops, has anyone got any suggestions?

    I still have to sow some kale, havent got round to it yet I put leeks were my earlies were

        Still to be sown imminently are spring cabbage and more mooli.

        Later in the year sowings of broad beans and peas + planting of garlic and Japanese onions to overwinter.

          have cavolo Nero seedlings, sprouts psb carrots and chard. Will also do more lettuces, and Chinese greens.

            Have just sown turnip, spinach, swiss chard, peas and winter lettuce. Still have some leeks and winter cabbage to plant out.

              If you can get hold of some leek seedlings from the garden centre, they will follow potatoes and give you a lovely winter crop.

                I am have been hoping to get some kev wonder peas in for the past few weeks for a late crop of peas after my spuds.

                Just too much softfruit picking putting me off!

                  I sowed some Kev Wonder peas last week, I have a load of room coming up so, carrots, pak choi, mizuna, cav nero, spinach beet winter spring onions, radish.? sprouting broccoli
                  Mad Old Bat With Attitude.

                  I tried jogging, but I couldn't keep the ice in my glass.

                    Just planted my second lot of peas which had been growing for 3 weeks in rootrainers.
                    Sown more radish & lettuce. Froze most of my carrots which were grown in tubs,refilled with more.
                    Never mind the TWADDLE here's the SIX PETALS.

                      I thought I was too late to sow more peas. I'd like to fill the space left by my earlies so I'll throw some peas in!

                        If I were to sow some peas now would it be better to plant the seeds in the ground straight away OR start growing them indoors?

                          I start everything off on the windowsill to escape the slugs. Apart from root veg
