  • Anyone tried Epicure spuds?

The Lady Christl spuds I ordered got substituted out for Epicure... anyone have experience of growing these? I was really looking forward to trying Lady C. too...

On the up side, my Pink Fir Apples got substituted out for Anya, which I would have chosen anyway, but they weren't on the list initially.

I think Epicure is an old variety. I seem to remember my Dad growing them. He grew Sharpe'sexpress as a second early and Kerr's pink for a late

I really like Epicure, it's the variety grown as Ayrshire Potatoes. I fed mine with seaweed and they were lovely.

AP, Kerr's Pink gotta be the best mashing spud I reckon, as excellent with 'bangers' as it is with haggis
