    Anyone grown cress for seed?

    I have found up some old threads and one person says its bi-annual but doesn't say how to overwinter and someone else said older plants are nice as a veg rather that just the sprouts, but that is about it.

    Just wondered if any of you lovely grapes had grown it to save seed? Is it easy/ cheaper to just buy new seed? Any other useful tips or tricks?

    Premier Seeds do 40 grams of seed for £1-49, I have to ask is it worth the hassle.

      funny you should ask that,i have some mustard seeds,4 years old,sowed them about a week ago,coming up great,i was thinking of letting some go to seed myself,had no idea they were a bi-annual,thanks for the info MOM,have to goggle now,

      right,there is a small thread on here on the subject,called

      where do cress seeds come from,am no good at links,if fact there are a few liked to here,

        Probably not, but its the usual have to give it a go (at least once) just to prove its pretty pointless

        I have grown mustard to seed state. If you have spare space it is fine a 2ft tall sprawly plant. Seed wise I got enough for re-sowing but not masses. I won't be trying it again oh and mustard is annual.

        That was the thread I found as well

        Looks like I have something else for the veg patch just for curiosities sake
