  • Anyone else order Mimi seed potato from T&M?

I ordered mine at the start/middle of November and have had all my other potatoes but not these yet, has anyone else order these and got them yet? When I emailed T&M they said they still hadn't been packed ready to ship yet but they were hopping to do so soon.

I've already started planting others in tubes in the poly tennel, I just couldn't wait anymore!

I haven't got any of my order for T&M. I'm started to feel a bit concerned as all the shops have seed potatoes in and if they let me down I don't want to miss the boat.

I placed my T & M order months ago for the Sarpo potatoes but haven't received anything yet.

What did you order? Maybe I should try emailing them again ...

Loads of stuff, but spuds were:

          Pink Fir Apple
          International Kidney
          Anya
          Marfona
          King Edward
          Kestrel

          and free Dunluce

My Sarpos arrived about 3 weeks ago - from T&M. I usually email to request an ETA and get the goods the next week...this time I didn't have to though. Definitely ask the question.

I did email an enquiry yesterday...let's see when I get a response. They were certainly quick to take my money.

I never got a reply to my e-mail, therefore I phoned up to chase. Apparently they cant view any online orders when you ring up. However the lady I spoke to did say that they have only just started shipping potatoes and therefore we should receive them shortly.

She seemed reluctant to give me any timelines

I rang a few weeks ago and they were similarly vague then as well.

We/they have another month yet, planting outside should really be the end of feb(later up here) or the frost will knock the tops off.Tricky if you're planting in a tunnel, must admit I may have some International Kidney for next year under cover, might get those where I can put my hand on them a bit earlier so I can chit them.

Burnie - I think people are more worried about not receiving their ordered spuds and missing the boat on buying the ones in the shops at the minute. You can bet if they buy extra, then they'll get a delivery and have too many.

I got my Sarpos the other day, but I ordered them from Garden4Less rather than T&M direct. From previous years though I can tell you that their orders are filled in the order that they received them, so you may not get your spuds til the end of January, or perhaps into February. They'll have them to you by planting time. Try not to panic, T&M are a pretty big company, and I'm sure have a lot of orders to get through at this time of year.

If any of you get stuck without spuds (which I'm sure won't happen) than I'm sure Grapes will rally round to sort you out

Got it in one. And T&M have been known to make substitutions as well....

I emailed last night and got a reply within about hour an hour, but did already have an email to reply to and a named person, it says that they arr currently preparing for dispatch and 'should be with you shortly'.

That reminds me, I'm also not got my free spuds or onions sets either but not so worried about these.

I ordered seed potatoes from T&M in mid November (4 varieties including Mimi) - and they all arrived early Jan. Was surprised as previous orders from them have not been so prompt.
