  • Another (probably weed) id help needed

So clearing more obvious weeds from my allotment I've discovered a couple more plants that I'm not sure about. The ones with the few thin leaves seem to be appearing in a bed where potatoes are appearing, as there isn't much people normally plant alongside potatoes I'm assuming it probably is a weed but it isn't a plant I've seen before.

The second one looks much more like a weed, there are a few appearing and they're growing pretty quickly - up to about 2 foot high at the moment.

Neither smells of anything in particular.

Picture 2 could be a sort of hemp and the first euphorbia (spurge) both weeds and big ones!

Watch out for the sticky white milky sap in the first one - it can be an irritant to some people.

The first one is also called a Mole Plant- it's supposed to ward off moles. Interestingly it has the same name ( in French) over here- so there may be something in that!!!

Could the second one be Jerusalem Arichokes???
