    Allotment progress

    Well when i first registered on the forums a couple of months ago i mentioned that the (MOD) were supplying an area on the Airfield for a small allotment plot for Service families to use. Well this is the area


    After taking the dog for a walk this morning i had a look at the area and work had finally started. This is how it's looking now


    I'm so excited just can't wait to start work on my own plot!

      Excellent!! I hope the powers that be take note. More employers could make this sort of facility available.

          I agree theres loads of land just going to waste! It was a hell of a battle getting Defence Estates to agree to use the tiny piece of land for an allotment!

          No noise Snadger the Airfield is not active anymore
