When did you sow those? I've only just planted mine out.

Well mine are still in the packet in the garden centre. :P

              I want peas! =[ =[

my grandfather was told by a sweet pea expert that the ultimate time to plant sweet pea seeds was the 10th of October without fail.

Not sure if it works for edible peas though..

My first batch of golden sweet are about 8" tall and starting to scramble up the mesh but I think that's slightly ahead of last year but my norli aren't that far off flowering - I hope! However, seeing the pretty flowers, I want my golden sweet flowering - NOW!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

It's a dwarf called Bamby. I sowed them last month.

My Lancs Lad are in but no flowers yet. I am sowing my Golden Sweets today as they only arrived this week. I fell in love with them after seeing Rebsie's cross and am hoping to do some of my own crosses this year. I don't even care if they aren't edible; they are gorgeous!!! See here:

Your link is very interesting Zaz and not just from the horticultural point of view. Well worth a read.
