  • Aldi Hanging Basket Chilli Kit

Back at the beginning of February I bought one of these kits. All six seeds germinated and I thinned out to three for the basket as per instructions. I potted the other three up and all seem to be doing ok but as I've never grown them before I wondered if I should feed them. Do you follow the same principle as for toms as in feed when they start to flower or should I be feeding anyway, especially the three in the basket?

I tried searching for other threads but couldn't find one specific enough.

I grew chillis for the first time last year, had about ten plants and they were in pots outside on the patio and all i did was water them a little and i had loads of fruits from them.Never did feed them.

So three weeks later and the chillie basket is looking like this.

Don't know why this pic hasn't rotated. It's the right way up on my pooter!

Lots of flowers appearing and looking healthy but I'm tempted to put them all in a deep pot as I can't help thinking they need more in the way of space for roots.

        What do you reckon?
