  • Advice please - repotting

I have a tray of seeds which I planted about 3 weeks, which don't seem to have grown at all.
I have some other seeds I want to plant, can I just add them to these pots, or should I compost the compost, and start fresh?

What did you sow in the tray? Depending on the plant, 3 weeks might be a bit early to give up on it - especially after the cool spell we've had - and especially if like me you've been a bit heavyhanded with the watering!

Unless you are pushed for space, I would leave the tray and see if something good happens (you never know), and sow the new batch in a new tray.

And also, what are you planning to sow next? If it's the same thing, you could try putting it in the compost, but the risk is that the other seeds failed because of a compost problem. If it's something different I would definitely start afresh as otherwise you might end up with 2 crops mixed together!
Warning: I have a dangerous tendency to act like I know what I'm talking about.
