  • Advice on Cucumbers

I grew my F1 Passandra cucumbers on my kitchen windowsill at the beginning of April. They germinated quicker than expected (in 4 days!) and grew at such an alarming rate that I potted them into their final positions inside my polytunnel on Friday However, each morning when the polytunnel starts warming up, the plants go really floppy and wilt. After a couple of hours they perk up again. Is it because of the day/night time temperature fluctuations in the tunnel, and if so, will the plants be okay? Help!

I'd say it's the temperature, the difference is too much for them.Watch out for the ground frost-they are not hardy at all.

I thought as much. I have been fleecing them on an evening, but maybe that's not enough. As they are in pots I may just bring them indoors until the nights are warmer.

That would be a good idea
