Paraffin heater is working well. Think I need to set the wick a bit lower though. Everything is covered in soot this morning but it is 7 degrees warmer than outside!

You need tonight the heater and then leave it for a while after which it can be turned down so that the flame is blue with no yellow tips. Clean the wick daily to remove all the chared bits. As Potty says beware carbon monoxide!!!!Gardening requires a lot of water - most of it in the form of perspiration. Lou Erickson, critic and poetComment
