Default Rubber strip for greenhouse

Hi Everyone,

My second hand greenhouse is up and levelled and now I am getting the glass in but some of the rubber strip that the glass is supposed to rest against is missing. Can anyone let me know the best place to get this as I cant seem to get any locally.. Also how necessary is it?

Thanks

Alan

Hi Allan, the rubber strip cushions the glass, allowing it to expand without breaking, and allows it to grip easier with the w clips, as it pushes them up a little, so I'd advise using it, we did!

We got some from ebay, relatively inexpensive, but it can be got from NAKAYS http://www.kaysdiscountgarden.co.uk/1.html

Hope thats of some help!
