Don,t know if any of you have been watching this, I was fascinated by the heating system they installed in their greenhouse. They used an underfloor thermal mass of crushed glass which was heated using a solar powered fan which drew the hot air from the top of the greenhouse. This keeps the greenhouse warmer at night and cooler in the day.
I knew about using tanks of water to regulate greenhouse temps wondered if anyone knew how effective the above system would be. I,ve just got an allotment and am planning on getting a greenhouse this autumn so any advice would be appreciated.
