| Last night when watering my tomatoes I noticed a huge toad lurking underneath a plant. I wonder if this explains the curious nibble marks I'd noticed on a couple of corgettes? Possibly the toad was attracted the the odd baby slug, which I saw oncloser inspection (how they got in I don't know). Have re-homed the toad under a bush outside, and slugs in chickens tummy! |

| Cherish your toad Pixie. I encourage them (or even re-locate them!) into my greenhouse. I'm not aware that they eat vegetation at all but I know they munch slugs and smails so my enemy's enemy is my friend, as they say!
