Default heaters advice

Hi,Can anyone advise me I have a 10x6 greenhouse and have got an electric heater upto2kw . My question is- whats the best lenght of time to leave it on overnight or do you leave it on all through the night to avoid frost? Its all new to me so any advise would be great

I suspect that it depends on what you want to keep in there, Helly, as different plants need different levels of 'frost protection' - what are you planning for overwintering?

Hi Hazel, I've just put my outdoor plants in. I have some peas and lettuce,and just potted some sweetpeas. Would like to plant some potatoes aswell.
