LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Autumn/winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, courgettes, marrows, beetroot, french and runner beans now drying for dried beans. Soon to plant garlic, more salads, more brassicas and then broad beans.

    Default June in the tunnel.

    Here's June's (slightly late) update.

The big shelf is gone, along with the Spring onions and basket strawberries. Toms and cucs in the ground, and a couple of basket types (Terenzo behind the door, can't remember what the one in the bucket is, maybe peardrops?). Parsley behind the door in the ground.

Spinach is finished, beans are finished, toms and carrots coming along. Also marigolds, another cuc and a Padron chilli.

Not sure why an extra pic has been attached!

Lettuce is nearly over, we had Iceberg, Cos and some cut again mixed, which were everyone's favourite.
Strawberries are on their second flush, sweetcorn is going really well, still a bit worried about cross pollination with the 2 varieties in there. Bulb fennel is struggling along as is the Melon and the chillies and peppers all have fruit. Tommies are going well, luckily at different rates so hopefully my wife's feared Tommie mountain won't appear(well not too big). There's Moneymaker, Supersweet 100, Gardeners delight, Ailsa Craig and Tumbling tom red.

I swear I can hear the sweetcorn growing, must have grown a foot this week, it's taller than me and I'm 6 foot 4.View from the greenhouse door 2017-view-greenhouse-door.jpg
