| 25mm blue hdpe water pipe. You can buy it from B&Q or cheaper at most plumbers merchants. I use lots of it and if you are cute and cut all of the hoops the same size there is no issue with using more or fewer hoops for your structures.

| I found some of the blue water pipe recently on the beach - beachcombing is great! (I only got one hoop from it but I go often and keep me eyes open!)

| Sorry to slightly hi-jack the thread, but; I was wondering how you do the calculation to get the height/width of 'hoop' that you want? Or do you just experiment with the 1st one until you get it right and then cut the others to match?

| Guestimate Sarzwix, then fine tune till its right. When I cut my first I made sure it was a bit too long as you can cut some off, but cant stick it back on again very well.

| I'm putting some mesh over some sowings in the next couple of weeks, hoping to use water pipe cut into hoops, now am I better off using bamboo into the ground to slip into the water pipe or shoving the waterpipe straight into the ground ??? I'd say the bamboo is prob the way to go but any advice apprieciated. cheers, kc |

| if the ground is soft King Carrot I just push the pipe in, if its hard a bit of cane comes in handy.

| What a good Thread GF. I have often wondered the best way to do this. Thank you for starting it.
