Default Greenhouse advice?

Hello there,

Would anyone be able to recommend a cheap-as-possible 8x6 greenhouse?

I ordered a BillyOh greenhouse from Garden Buildings Direct (Kybotech) at the weekend, and despite emailing me to tell me that it had been loaded on to the delivery vehicle, and to expect delivery between 7am and 7pm yesterday (yes, that'll be a 12-hour delivery slot then!), it didn't arrive. And after several phone calls yesterday and today, it turns out that they didn't even have any stock - not that they bothered to contact me to tell me this. Even though they had already taken my money and lied about the delivery. Obviously I'm not going to be ordering from these charlatans again.

The Gardman greenhouse is a similar alternative, but I've read some very disparaging things about the flimsy-ness of it's construction.

I think I'm resigned to having to spend a bit more than I'd like! And it looks like my tomatoes that are currently struggling in little pots on the windowsill will have to live out in the elements this summer.

I looked everywhere at greenhouses and in the end bought mine from Tesco Direct for £300, its glass, not poly and I could have paid £80 extra for the green one, i think min is 8 x 6 (have a peek at my blog as there is a picture of it)

Its great and I got triple clubcard points and delivery was less than a week!! the blokes who delivered were super and put it just where i asked (not in the biblical sense by the way lol)

Hope it helps

SS

I think my greenhouse will have to be poly as it'll be situated by an alleyway where there are a plentiful supply of teenagers and stones!

I bought a Gardman 8x6 over the internet a couple of weeks ago, bit of head scratching when we were putting it together but very happy with it now it's built. It was delivered within 2 days of me ordering it, great service. If you want info re supplier PM me and I'll give you the details.
