Default Sources of cheap anti-weed material?

Hi all,

I've seen a roll of woven polypropylene at the local garden centre I wondered if it was good value or not. It's 12m long by 1m wide for £13.

If not, can anyone suggest where I can buy some cheaper?

Cheers,
Head Burro.

I have been meaning to ask the same question. Prompted by your thread I took a look on eBay. Have a look at this:

40p a metre and 1.5metres wide.

in Country kitchen magazine, they suggest using heavy duty plastic woven sheets used under decking and paving slabs-from DIY stores-and weighted down with plastic milk bottles filled with water.
