Grow Your Own Magazine

I was just wondering if anyone knows the name of a particular plant i'm searching for. It appears to be a climber, has a red/maroon delicate stem and light green leaves. as yet, no flower on it. I can't find it in any g centres, yet everyday I see it in a particular garden and am quite taken by it. I could nurgle it i suppose, but so far have been very unsuccessful with my cuttings. anyone??

Larry, can you sneak a photo of it? Also, where is it growing - a garden/field/by water etc? If it's someone's garden maybe keep your eyes open for the home owner and ask them.

Sounds quite striking so I'd be quite interested too
