    Poundland

    hi

    We went to poundland today and they had loads of gardening items from pots,hand tools, gloves,bulbs and also big bags of onion sets and potatos. all for a £1 ( if you did not guess!!!!)

    Worth a look if you have one near you.

    Wow! I have just looked on their website and they have loads so definitely going to visit tomorrow

    If you go to the planting guides section they have a load of PDF files you can download for free (probably only useful to complete novices like me though )

    Does anyone know if their blueberry bushes would be OK? For £1 it seems too good to be true?

      You may need 2 of same type for pollination as I think they work better in pairs. Check size they grow to as some can get quite big. I only bought one last year and got 2 berries It's a dwarf variety so is in a pot and don't forget to use ericaceous compost not multi purpose.

        Regularly pop into poundland . Good for plant pots etc. Cheaper than Wilkinsons.

                        i got some liquid feed last week which was about 50p cheaper than wilko's, i did look for fish, blood and bone?!?!? but they didnt have any, going to send hubby down possibly tomorrow to have a look for some, i was told it was good to use on veg?

                          Was in today, got 6 hanging basket liners for £3 and 2 pop-up green bag jobbie things for a £1 each(will grow spuds in these)
