Just wanted to share my happy day today with you all...
Having only started growing vege 3 years ago, today I won a beautiful trophy for most points in the Vegetable classes at a local show. (Life now complete)
The point is.... anyone can do it!!
The tip? 1. Never give up, on weather, slugs, bugs, blight, and diseases..there is always next season.
    2. Organic matter DOES matter!!, lots and lots, it did the trick for me!!

oh and keep reading on this wonderful forum as there is so much to learn from so much experience.

Thanks to all who have replied to my many questions.
    xx

Congratulations GP You forgot to mention that you must have worked very hard too to keep on top of everything this year has thrown at us.
Perhaps we should have a thread for prizewinners to show off their trophies
